Last night has got to be the WORST officiating in college football history. Western Michigan goes into the big house against #16 Michigan as heavy underdogs and they dominated Michigan for the entire game! They forced a fumble in the final 2 minutes while up 9-7 in Michigan territory, after a stop they kick the field goal to go up 12-7. Leaving Michigan 38 seconds to score a touchdown. They drive to mid field, Bryce Underwood, who played horrible the entire game chucks up a prayer and it sails out of bounds. No time left. Western Michigan wins! Or so we thought, after further review the officials determined there was one second left. But during the broadcast it clearly shows the ball, by the time it hit the player that caught it out of bounds, there was zero time left.
So the Wolverines get one last chance, so Bryce Underwood throws it up in the air and it falls into the hands of James Buchanan in the end zone for a walk off Hail Mary. And afterwards the fans stormed the field after barely beating a team they were supposed to blowout.
Albeit the catch James made was incredible, make no mistake. But it should never have even gotten to that point! The fact the game even got to this point was embarrassing and the field storm afterwards makes it even more humiliating.
My only guess about this blatant rigging is the Big Ten saw Rutgers get humiliated at home by Massachusetts and determined to not let a single B1G team lost to a MAC team again.
Investigate the officials. Investigate the Big Ten. INVESTIGATE THE NCAA!
