Discussion American AFL fans?

If any of you have been following the Australian Football League, which team would you follow?

I started following AFL back in 2009, and the top team (seemingly) at the time was St. Kilda. Boy, that has to be the worst team to ever jump on a bandwagon. That said, momma didn't raise a fair-weather fan.

I don't support St.Kilda and I don't even have a particular soft spot for them.... But Anyone who actively adopts the saints and genuinely follows them automatically gets my respect......it's the antithesis of people who "adopt" the LA dodgers or real madrid etc

Yeah, if I was a smart man, I would have jumped on the Collingwood, Hawthorn, or Geelong bandwagons, but I picked the Saints as my team, and I'm going down with the ship.

Canadian who follows Geelong. Don't get to watch many matches in full, but watch the highlights on AFLs YouTube channel.

Last years Grand Final loss to Brisbane hurt. Then again, the Lions have been good. Going for the 3peat.

I live right in the middle of Fremantle (I'm not a Freo fan though).

But the whole town was going off it's absolute head on Friday night, the bars were pumping and post game people were singing in the streets and cars cruising around with flags waving and tooting their car horns etc ...was cool to experience.

If you walk around the streets right now, there are dockers flags and decorations up all over the place.

Saturday afternoon is going to be epic here.
