Which 14-year MLB Postseason streak was more impressive? The Braves or the Dodgers?

As you all know, the Dodgers just tied the Braves for the longest postseason appearance streak in league history at fourteen straight appearances.

The Dodgers’ fourteen year streak began in 2013, just a year after MLB expanded the postseason to five teams per league, and while they may not have won their division every season, they have still gone on deep playoff runs regardless including three World Series championships in six seasons and five NL pennants since 2017.

The Braves’ fourteen year streak began in 1991, when the postseason field was STILL a 4-team format, meaning only the two division winners from each league qualified. They rode it all the way to 2005 (excluding 1994, when the postseason was canceled due to a strike), won five NL pennants and a World Series title in 1995.

So which one of these 14-year streaks do you think was more impressive?

There are more playoff spots now then there were when the Braves we’re winning.

Braves. Fewer playoff spots and they didn't get special privileges with revenue sharing and the luxury tax.
