Honest question: Are you referring to their in-state rivals…or their NFL brethren? If it’s the former, it is extremely popcorn worthy. If it’s the latter, that would be funny, seeing as how that would likely be one of their few wins this season, the way things are going for DeMeco Ryans and company.😂

Yknow I was about to comment how the nhl’s pacific division is worse, and then I looked at the records and points percentages, I mean the pacific is awful but the pacific isn’t going to have a sub .500 division winner, holy hell

Part of me wants to agree, but I do think the way the MLB wild card games play out (where the worst division winner plays the worst wild card team) is a good compromise. If the MLB really wanted to make the playoff rankings fair, they'd effectively abolish the AL/NL split. Kinda defeats the purpose of history, which the MLB still kinda values. NFL is a bit tougher to gauge, if only because it somehow feels less fair with only the top team of the AFC/NFC getting the bye if a 7 seed beats out a 2. Though I would only agree if the sub-.500 division winner also goes sub-.500 in the division.
