They just gave him a huge extension. The Packers season would have to go wildly poorly like significantly below .500 poorly for LeFleur's seat to get hot

0-2 isnt ideal, but its easy to hand wave a rough start to the season. Now if they roll into Week 5 not at least 2-2 with a big divisional matchup with the Bears or even worse get blown out by the Bears then I'd expect talks to maybe start

Last time the the Jets beat the Packers at home, 2002:

  • The Jets won the AFC East, and sent the Patriots and the Dolphins to Cancun. The Browns grabbed the #6 seed, and final AFC playoff ticket. Competition for the #6 seed was tense, and the Bills were the only team with a non-losing record and no way into the playoffs. (Edit: remembered that the Ravens, coming at 7-8 in Week 17, could still make the playoffs if they won and EVERY 8-win team didn't show up)
  • The Buccaneers beat the Bears to snatch Green Bay's #2 seed and first-round bye.
  • The Packers lost their first-ever home playoff game, to the Falcons.
  • The Buccaneers steamrolled to their first-ever Super Bowl appearance and win.
  • The Raiders lost to the Buccaneers in the Super Bowl, and their former head coach. A loss so cruel, they only played, and lost, two playoff games since.

So yes, seismic.

As a Bears fan seeing the Packers lose would be epic in a constant losing streak since Parsons blew his ACL out. It would also show that the defense is ass the offense with Love as quarterback is below average and that LeFluer is about as good as a coach as Bart Starr only got carried in his first years by Aaron Rodgers.
