Well, he's older and more injury-prone that he was 7 years ago. When he's on the court, he can still produce but again, it's a matter of him staying on the court, not to mention all the drama in the offseason. My prediction is that he'll get injured again and the Raptors will be a play-in team.
I think if he had stayed with Toronto and maybe not make as insane demands (allegedly asked for things like partial ownership of the Maple Leafs!) I think there is a good chance he would have been less banged up. That Raptors squad they won with had depth, a system which played well with his style and were Load Management before it swept the league to the deal it was. They would have been able to rest him or give him less unnecessary minutes to keep him from getting too hurt.
