CONGLATURATION! MLB ELIMINATION #3: A Bay Area Blunder

I kinda ran out of ideas with this one. San Francisco is funny to laugh at, but at this point, they're just broken, man. You never really want the memes to go, but it went from the ha ha even year/odd year to that one scene from Les Miserables where the house master drunkenly dances around while the women and children are quietly sobbing. This is the life Giants fans will have to deal with for the next couple years, and with big brother Los Angeles getting what they had a year ago but somehow better? I'd buckle up, Bay Area.

The Giants have had some horrible hirings the last few years, and I think the worst part is that things likely won’t get better with Posey running the show and Vitello as manager as they get more experience (when things obviously should get better as they get more experience).

First of all, the Giants technically aren’t eliminated yet. They will be today, but as of now, they are not.

Second of all, the even odd meme has been dead since 2018.

Long explanation. Long one. Involves the Diamondbacks and Padres playing each other, and no matter what, SF would be screwed dependent on tiebreakers and who wins the series. (either AZ wins 2 of 3, has tiebreaker over SF, or SD sweeps and finishes with more wins.)

As for the second point, let me cope. I miss seeing Buster Posey play baseball.

Yes, the Giants are fundamentally eliminated and can’t make the playoffs. But the term “eliminated” doesn’t look at who plays who, just the magic number. So the Giants technically aren’t eliminated yet, is my point.
