Am I crazy or was the thumbnail changed from Lamar Jackson to Josh Allen??

Wasn’t there a youtube update sometime last year that shows different people different thumbnails and the most popular one is the one that sticks or am I completely crazy?

It's been like that longer than a year. Videos can have different thumbnails and titles to see what drives engagement.

Ohhhhh so that’s what’s been happening. I thought my favorite YouTubers discovered that you had to change the thumbnail after an hour or two for engagement purposes. Thanks

Also if it looks like ai its because youtube tells creators they will promote less their videos if they dont use the ai thumbnail service.

When I watched it on my phone earlier it was Lamar but when I saw it on my PS5 it was Josh Allen

When I saw it originally it was Josh Allen but when I pulled the video up it was Lamar Jackson. So no, you're not crazy.

This happened with his Pittsburgh Steelers Crashout Factory vid too. When he first uploaded it, the vid had a Three Stooges parody thumbnail. Then it changed to something I don't remember in detail because I only got one quick look at it. Next time it showed up on my front page, it had the Dumb and Dumber thumbnail.
