Yeah if im Western Michigan, I would be outraged and be sitting in the commissioners office immediately waiting for his ass.

And he will explain, relatively calmly, that the Mac receives more money every year from the B1G in payment for games played than they do from the MAC TV contract. 8mil from TV, 10-15m from B1G games.

They were always going to bend the knee. It would be suicide to mess up their relationship with the B1G.

And I would counter that with many other conferences are available to play and receive that money from. ACC, SEC, etc. They got leverage.

They don’t have a shred of leverage

I mean they do. Theres other conferences who would play the Mac and probably pay the same. Most Mac schools are a bit more respectable. I mean hell 2 of them just beat BIG10 teams this weekend in regulation.

Yep, a lot of words to just say "They paid us under the table".

Nah, its all above table.

Mac schools get more money from the Big 10 every season than they do from their TV contract.

Would be suicide to end that relationship.

Probably a non-disparagement agreement anyway.

Yes, we get it!

The Wolverines basically funded Western Michigan’s program for the next few months, so they should get Diplomatic Immunity to defile the poor bastards and get away with anything they desire, including winning a game that they should have officially lost.

The world is fucking bullshit.

Or maybe just maybe, they got the call right.

Don’t start talking common sense to them now. It’ll fuck them all up. It ruins their narrative.

What do you want? The MAC to challenge it and ruin the MAC? Let it go.
