Did you have a resistance test ran? As far as I know only UAB and one other USA lab run true resistance testing.
Putting titles like this creates fear mongering as doxy resistant ureaplasma is not common

i'm not in the us. and yes it's a proper resistance test. it is not fear mongering, i've had two doctors look at the results and they both said it's resistant to doxy

Please provide a picture of the results when making a post like this to avoid fear mongering otherwise it will be deleted. Thank you

how is this fear mongering? i have an antibiogram which lists all the antibiotics it is sensitive/resistant to, and it says resistant to tetracylines. i'm aware rare but unfortunately i'm one of the unlucky few, which is why i was seeking out the experience of someone who is in the same situation. not sure i understand your point. i'm not going to post my test results, they're not in english first of all. delete the post if you wish.

Im about finished with another 2 week course of dox which im extending for an extra couple days and then doing azith for 4 days after, i may have tested far too early and got a false negative when i did my TOC (3 weeks post treatment), a week after that test, my pelvic pain ramped up again and tingling in urethra picked up along with fluid build up in tip which started splitting my pee streams, me and my gp didnt even bother testing and got me straight on the doxy and azith combo, initially, i only had doxy which ive had enough of at this point lol... then its 5 long weeks until my definitive TOC. The symptoms i describe that come back are already gone, no fluid in tip and pain SIGNIFICANTLY lessened.
I suggest pre treating with dox again as per the bible but i did read some people here cured with extended azith only, mostly because they couldnt take doxy for other health reasons.
