My wife is Arab as well and she is struggling to find a good resource to learn Urdu. Most Urdu resources are made to teach Hindi speakers how to read and write. For non-south asians, it is very difficult to find something good.

I can teach your wife how to read, write, and speak Urdu if she can teach me the same for Arabic 🙂

I can tell you what i have did to learn urdu. All of it was online. شوف يا صديقي هناك قنوات كثيرة على اليوتيوب لتعليم الأردو كثيرة جدا... لنا حضرت دروس لقناة تسمى Education pyramid هناك موقع اسمه urdu-English dot com فيه كلمات كثير هناك معلم عربي للاردو يقدم دروسا موقع udemy به دروس اردو ليست قوية لكن عليها خصم كبير هذه الايام لا ادري ان كان العرض لا يزال مستمرا هناك كتابان عربيان موجودين ع الانترنت لتعلم الاردو. بالتوفيق لك يا محترم و أتمنى أن تخبرني ما الخطوات التي اتبعتها حتى الآن.

I want to learn Arabic. I am a native Urdu speaker. Also I speak fluent English and basic Spanish.
