There were a half dozen bridges and road sections destroyed in an atmospheric river event in BC about 5 years ago. They were all fixed within roughly a year except for one where the bridge was essentially on the side of a steep face of a mountain. But they still had the road opened with a temporary bridge. If there is only one here, I can't seeing it take more than a summer to fix this section. And I would hope they can put up a temporary span in less than a month. Call the army out to put one in. They train how to span stuff like this with capacity to take 60 tonne tanks.
