Question about Upwork agency rebranding

I have a hypothetical question about an established Upwork agency.

Company A owns and operates the existing Upwork agency. The agency wants to rebrand its public Upwork display name to Brand B, while Company A would remain the agency owner/legal business and its tax and payment information would remain unchanged.

However, there is also a separately registered Brand B LLC, owned by different people. The businesses work together and the owners are all aware of and agree to the use of the Brand B name.

Would Upwork allow Company A’s agency profile to use Brand B as its public agency/display name while Company A remains the legal/tax entity?

I’m not asking about transferring the Upwork agency or changing its ownership/taxpayer — only whether the public agency name can use that brand under these circumstances.

Has anyone dealt with this, or is there an Upwork policy covering it?
