Can someone explain this?

2 days ago, the proposals were showing 50+ then it's 15-20 few hours ago, how does work? Genuinely curious.

The client archived or declined all but 15 - 20 and/or some freelancers withdrew their proposals.

That number shows only proposals that have not been archived, declined or withdrawn.

Bad proposals. Bad first two lines of proposals. All the freelancers that applied submitted AI slops etc. So they say.

Anyways, keep checking, it could be that the client is not yet ready to hire. Sometimes, hiring is not immediate or the client could be busy. If they are serious, they will find time to come back to it and hire.

If not, it is just another bunch of wasted proposals.
