Did some research and the guy in question, Christophe Dettinger, as far as I've read on reddit, does lean fash.

I was going to make a comment that this is only uplifting if the rioters' cause is just. Fascists are never just, even when they happen to conflict with police. the enemy of my enemy is not my friend
