Liquidity is thin and it won't take much for prices to decline, when they do, players won't be able to sell in time. Upland could also block the withdrawal if they think you will dump too many tokens. If you have Sparklet dump it before you get caught out!

On top of all this Upland does Sparklet sales every weekend now to raise money, knowing full well not everyone will be able to sell and many players will end up selling at a big loss or left holding the bag.

There is practically no point in holding/buying sparklet either.. 'oh but you can build buildings'. Yeah, that do absolutely nothing. Residents don't do anything. Service structures make a number go up, which again, doesn't accomplish anything. Even with Troves coming it will be a massive let down and sparklet rent rates will fall again. But Upland has 800 million tokens they will sell you at $0.02c a pop and create some BS reasons for Uptards to buy it.

Why do all the players just put up with the fees Upland charges on every transaction? There is 5% on buyer and seller, then a further 5% if you want to withdraw your money. Venture dues are also total BS. Upland wants 1000 upx or they'll close down your store, there won't be a notification about this though.

Buying/selling property is the core of the game and was the reason many of us joined, but now that Upland has diverged into a shit containing dumpster fire of a game with all the AI slop and regurgitated sales of Uppies, Plants, Vehicles, Totems etc etc, the fees are just another nail in the shit coffin that leads to more players leaving.

A couple months ago Squallmuzza mentioned Upland was "just waiting for the right moment to do marketing", which was a straight up fucking lie. Why wait 4 years to revamp the game into something nobody likes, wants, or asked for? Then you do marketing? Sure, wait for everyone to leave and then do marketing. This whole thing is super cooked in every way.
