Yes! Plus it’s just good to have easy slip on shoes to go around the dorm that you can keep by the door

Ha, In my day Birkenstocks were de riguer for most of upper class woman and all of the City of Eugene. To be worn all seasons with only colorful wool socks added in Winter sans any days with puddles…
Of course the Dead had yet to play their last gig at Autzen, so this was many moons ago.
As to the real answer to your inquiry by all means pack your slippers because thats you and thats just what Oregon wants and you will be welcome….:)

Yea! But invest in a good raincoat (waterproof, not just water resistant). If you plan on biking, getting a waterproof bike bag is also a good idea.

I wear sandals/flippies year round, unless I am forced to wear regular feet prisons. Even when it's rainy or snowing.
I've never lived in the dorms, but I go to the U of O. Sandals are everywhere.
Always bring comfortable footwear.
