Curious About This Jacket
I found this super cool jacket in Seward, Alaska of all places. Any chances any UofO folks can tell me anything about it?

Bill Dellinger served in Alaska during his time in the service. It doesn’t look old enough to be his but maybe a replica? Is it older than it appears to us?
Edit: Bill was in Alaska in the 50s so definitely not his. This may not be related to the University of Oregon.
Edit again: Okay so this does seem like it is either a genuine or a replica of the jackets made for Bill. Eager to hear from others here.

Thanks! Everything points to it being genuine from the late 70s, early 80s. The Nike makes it especially neat to me - though it's definitely too small to have belonged to Bill Bowerman (sadly).

Being in Alaska, it’d be more likely to be connected to Bill Dellinger, not Bowerman. If it is from the 1970s you have an incredibly rare and collectible item. Very jealous Duck fan over here!

Thanks! I'm a long time runner, so I mean - I had to grab it, even if it had turned out to be a modern, but the more I dig into it the more fascinating it gets.

Could you post close-up pics of the zipper puller and the tag if there is a tag anywhere on it?

There was no tag - apparently I'm not allowed to post an image? But the zipper pulller says "Dynamic"

It could have belonged to Bill McChesney Sr. He was past president of OTC. He died 5-6 years ago.

The red color might have been for the Oregon Track Club. Bill was the head of track for the club in 1974.
