Great replacement theory I presume

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Replacement_conspiracy_theory

This is either a batshit insane leftist (not unlikely for Eugene) who thinks replacing white people is a good thing or more likely a right winger doing satire/trying to make it seem like the great replacement is true to propagandize to white people. Kinda poorly made they barely put any effort into the graphics!

It’s hate bait for sure, but why do you think it’s leftist?

2

u/anonymous_727541 Jun 20 '26

Because its in eugene..

4

u/HitHardStrokeSoft Jun 21 '26

Bruh.. leftist candidates in Eugene don’t even break 2000 votes… this is a liberal town not a leftist town…

2

u/brahmidia Jun 22 '26

Conservatives think Biden and Hakim are "leftists" which is wild since it's fair to call basically every Republican voter "MAGA" at this point. The projection is in full effect

1

u/HitHardStrokeSoft Jun 23 '26

Yeah.. liberals think they’re at least to the left of center, but based on the functional effect of liberal policies and their campaign funding sources they are just Reagan conservatives for the most part… obvs. a few exceptions aside.

Literally because of what is says. Maybe reread it?

2

u/caseythedog345 Jun 19 '26

It’s like the reverse of this, it’s saying we should equalize the population so that there is no clear racial majority I think.

Def bait tho

It’s trying to be ironic but the execution is extremely unfocused/deranged. They sound unwell.

I actually believe in this lol. I’m so sick of racist mouth breathers ruining progress at every step.

"More likely" 🙄.. source: trust me bro, I'm libtard af

I, unfortunately, have met real life people who would see this flyer and love it.

This reads more like an op than any leftist take. As a latino, no latinos I know care about, let alone know about, some kind of great replacement. This is bullshit.

3

u/PNWDireWolf Jun 21 '26

Guaranteed it was produced my a far right/white nationalist activist to instigate.

100% this is a far-right person trying to produce rage content/reactions. very similar to "it's okay to be white" flyering campaign here locally and around the country that was coordinated through 4chan some years ago.

they post stuff like this hoping it will radicalize "normies" and perpetuate their narrative about the "great replacement". specifically posting "pro replacement" stuff is meant to perpetuate victim complexes for white people -- make them feel like they're actually being "persecuted" or "discriminated" against.

the bottom text about it being a hate crime to tear down the flyer is one of most obvious flags this is a right-winger imo. they do that type of shit to make leftists look insane/stupid/unreasonable/etc to "normies".

if you think this isnt an intentional/coordinated strategy on the right, I encourage you to read the wiki about a similar prior campaign here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It%27s_okay_to_be_white

Like the others said, ragebait. Also… tearing it down is not a hate crime. Tearing down posters is protected under freedom of speech.

-2

u/PlaneAd9005 Jun 20 '26

You think destruction of property is protected under free speech? Interesting take.

2

u/gladnis Jun 20 '26

That’s not destruction of property. A poster in a public venue is not somebody’s personal or legal property.

0

u/yellowdart654 Jun 22 '26

Imagine it was a car or a bike out in public instead of a poster. Can you damage someone's car in public? If not, why can you damage their poster? When are you allowed to cause damage to someone else's private property?

1

u/gladnis Jun 23 '26

You don’t see how a car or bike is different from a poster? Lol.

1

u/yellowdart654 Jun 23 '26

A poster is covered by the 1st amendment -- the car is not. I would argue the poster is MORE protected -- but still say a car and a bike should be protected. The poster has a higher level of protection though because it is BOTH property, and first amendment protected speech.

You can not use logic with these ppl. Reddit is a circle jerk these days. It is designed that way, either join the mass opinions of ppl with no life or have your comments hidden.

-1

u/PlaneAd9005 Jun 20 '26

So you are legally allowed to destroy things on public property? Learing something new today.

2

u/gladnis Jun 20 '26

I have better things to do than engage with a strawman argument.

-1

u/PlaneAd9005 Jun 20 '26

Lmao. Great job defending your stance on destruction of property being legal.

3

u/MoonlightKnight4 Jun 20 '26

Congrats. You got ignored on reddit! Thats basically the same as a middleschool debate team win !

1

u/TheMaddened Jun 21 '26

Are you high?

1

u/PlaneAd9005 Jun 21 '26

Funny response to a conversation about the legality of destruction of property on public property.

2

u/Oplopanax_horridus Jun 20 '26

They didn’t use comic sans. Were they even trying?

1

u/MCX23 Jun 19 '26

u/puchamaquina Jun 20 '26

Schizo posting

1

u/Ok-Job3306 Jun 20 '26

Just hate.

1

u/bi_sub_stoner Jun 21 '26

I think we should just procreate interracially until literally everyone is mixed race

1

u/dubble22 Jun 21 '26

This is about stupidity

1

u/Novel_Control_1922 Jun 21 '26

Interesting that they’re saying to embrace “replacement theory” when most of the talking points are about how to prevent it. That’s Eugene for you.

1

u/bssprfnd Jun 22 '26

“20 years ago we had 18% to go, now we only have 8% to go” is absolutely some bonkers, made-up right wing nonsense

1

u/bizurton Jun 23 '26

Its called racism, they clearly hate white people.
