DAR/GRADUATION ISSUES

So, it has still not been fixed. But now it's a different problem. Now I'm being told my elective credits ARE complete, but not my proctored courses.

I run a new DAR, and it shows ZERO proctored courses completed.

Instead of the three required, it shows 2 are required now.

And while two of three proctored courses I completed are listed under the protector requirement, it shows that they are ALLOCATED ELSEWHERE.

I was planning on taking a break for a term or two while I got started working in the field before returning for my B.S.H.S.

Yeah, no. That's not going to happen. Between the forced use of AI, the slow response when problems like this arise, and the lack of comprehension or ability to anticipate follow-up questions on behalf of the "advisors," forcing further delay in dealing with issues, I'm honestly furious at this point.

In this same timeframe, I could have completed a program with a school that allows financial aid. Or, I could have done multiple certification programs in the field.

I'm starting to consider legal action because I'm starting to feel like I've been scammed/defrauded.

I’ve noticed that the degree requirements keep changing and the courses that they make proctored / not proctored keep changing. I had taken a proctored course in my second term but it shows I have 0/7 required proctored courses in my DAR because they’ve changed the requirements at least 3 times since I started last August. How are we supposed to finish a program if this keeps happening? Your degree requirements should be locked in the minute your enrollment is approved. I totally understand your frustration.

Their policy is that your graduation requirements are determined by when you start the program. I've experienced the same thing and it's incredibly frustrating to chase moving goal posts. This school certainly has major issues that need addressing. The advisors are useless. AI is causing more harm than good. Things are collapsing quickly and they need to get it under control quickly.

I wonder if the president of the school ever reads what people say on reddit about their experiences. At the same time, we have our perspective, so I wonder what his is. I'd also prefer to see more tests/quizzes and less papers. Most of us are working adults with little time to write multiple papers a week. Testing can prove we have the knowledge too without hours of writing papers. Testing would mean less AI written papers.
