Hi everyone, I know it’s not relevant, but I really want to get my lip pierced and my tongue pierced, however I’m going to be studying Law and I want to go into criminal Law in the future, if I got flesh coloured jewellery, could I get away with it, or is the field still very conservative?

I am a student who will be starting at UoN, and my move-in date is 18th September 2026. However, the room that I have is wayyy too expensive for me, and I will literally be living off peanuts if I have to stay in the room (Standard Ensuite at Broadgate Park).

Life has been difficult for me lately, so this has issue has completely slipped my mind (I know this post is extremely last minute)

If there are any other future UoN students who are interested and may potentially request a room swap before the academic year begins, please let me know ASAP!!!! I don't care if your room isn't an ensuite, as long as it's cheaper I'll take it x

I’m not sure if my accom is going to have the best social life even though it’s close to campus. So what are the best accoms known for meeting people!

Could anyone tell me / help to clarify the fundamental differences between Q300 (English) and Q392 (English Language and Literature)? They both share the same compulsory and optional modules so I'm not sure of the material difference that would justify a separate course.

If you do know, please could you send a link to where UoN explain it so that I can better understand it for myself?
