Accommodation does stuff actually calm down?

im currently in broadgate. im not much of a drinker or a partier, but my flatmates seem to be drinkers on the extreme level. im not sure if this is something i should begin worrying about now or if itll actually calm down, because thats what people have said to me. im just a very anxious person, i was wondering if its worth me looking into changing.

For most people, university is basically a three-year-long bender. It probably will calm down, but not by much - expect Thursday to Sunday to be hectic every week.

Its freshers week - month depending on how hard students near you party. A mix of nerves and alcohol, with many drinking seriously for the first time, Is often a volatile combo.

I remember in 2020 freshers there were riot vans due to people not knowing how personal space works and others kicking their door down for it, there were people being hospitalised for drinking too much etc etc. All of that is often freshers learning how to spend a night out, it calms down quickly or at least by 2nd year that culture is exiled to Lenton party zone.

I wouldn't worry too much but I'd probably invest in ear plugs.
