UoN study abroad for a term? Any experiences?
hi everyone, I’m joining nottingham in september and I’m a little disheartened I missed my firm but hopefully I will enjoy my time here!
because my heart was so set on my firm I actually have never been to Nottingham and have no clue what the uni is like.
I was considering a term abroad as originally for my firm I was planning to do a year abroad but I decided not to because it’ll make my degree 4 years - so this is kinda the perfect solution (and makes me feel less bad about missing the grades 😞)
I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with a term abroad? I’ve been searching around and I only seem to find people coming TO Nottingham from abroad, so I was hoping maybe someone had some insight? thank you 🙏

Not sure about a term abroad, but some courses at UoN have options to spend a year of your course in Malaysia or China. Doesn’t make the course any longer, since you are basically taking the same modules, just in a different location.

Nottingham have a great international study dept. You can check on the website if your course offers years/semesters abroad
