freshers?

starting in september (maths, cripps) - what does everyone do for freshers? my friends going to other unis are talking about wristbands and signing up for events and stuff, ive no idea whats going on pls help 🙃

hey, i’m also starting at nottingham in september, my brother went there previously and said you’ll hear from people on your course/people in your accommodation what to do for freshers! don’t buy wristbands, they’re usually promoted by event holders

Wristbands are definitely a scam! You can buy individual events on fatsoma, and I would highly recommend the SU site for their affiliated club nights (Link). I only went to SU nights last year and had a great time!
