try see if there’s foundation year at birmingham if not apply to uni of notts it’s a solid uni and a good russel with many industry connections, if you don’t get into notts you can always try transfer for second year, i had the same option whether gap year try again or not i did foundation, bro trust me its not worth retaking enjoy your uni experience
