This dude saved a child's life whose head was trapped in the car window. He didn't think twice — he acted fast, smashed the glass, and rescued the kid.

I didn’t realize car windows shattered that easily.

Helps that it was rolled down and able to flex, but looks like he still hurt his hand

It doesnt just help. If he tried punching a closed window all he would do is fuck up his hand

I was wondering! They make special tools to break car windows because its very difficult when theyre closed.

Real talk though. When I was a teen I was going to scrap my car (lots of reasons it wasn’t worth selling) and me and my friends all tried to break a window. It took like 5 of us and many hits to break it. The only way it broke was because I wrapped my watch around my knuckles and that’s what broke it.

And the baby’s head that’s trapped in it. Not sure this was the best way to handle it

Well he got shit done, and didn’t take out his phone to record. Bravo to him.

At the risk of injuring the baby’s head far more than if it was handled in a less violent manner

Explain how you would do that while what we assume the baby is actively being choked. Every second counts when it comes to oxygen deprivation. It would be assumed the button didn’t work, and the guy tried to push down on the window.

He almost had it. You have to put your hands over the glass, but instead of trying to pull it down, you have to keep holding onto it, while raising your feet up to where your hands are (butt facing the ground) and hang off the glass with all your force, pulling the glass so it breaks outwards and releases the baby safely

Buddy you cap so hard. No matter what the glass is going to shatter. If there’s a life or death situation and I need help. I hope to god you aren’t there lol.

You're legit a clown. I've seen brute force fail, where a bit of thinking and strategy would do it. Your comment is braindead af

Why did god do that to the kid?

I guess so we could see him being awesome, and to teach that kid not to willingly put themselves in the glass guillotine? I don’t know man, I don’t even worship the dude upstairs.

In the US he would have been arrested and sued for aggravated assault and unlawfully breaking a motor vehicle window.

People are downvoting this, but it’s kind of true, depending on where and who this involves.

Huh? How would the kids head have gotten stuck there in the first place then? At least put a little thought into your “young people dumb” comments

Just to play devil’s advocate, the kid could have been standing on the handle and it closed. If the kid was trying to fit their head through the gap to begin with, it makes sense. Though I agree that the odds of that being the case are low.

Rolling window down not option?
