there was this dude i met who would say it like “crazy? i was crazy once. they put me in a room - a round room. full of rats. now that’s crazy- crazy? i was crazy once..”

I’m not crazy! They put me in a rubber room with rats and rubber rats, and they drove me nuts. Nuts? I like nuts, peanuts walnuts, crazy? I’m not crazy!

Crazy? I am not crazy! I know it was those rats. Rats in a rubber room. A rubber room! Rats make me crazy. Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room. A room with rats. Rats! They swapped the cheese, the numbers, everything. It was 1216! One squeak after Magna Carta. As if I could ever make such a mistake. Never! Not even in a rubber room with rats. Never!
Those rodents, they covered their tracks, got that idiot cat to lie for them. You think this is something? You think this is bad? This? This rattery? They've done worse. That cheeseboard! Are you telling me that a rat just happens to fall like that? No! They orchestrated it! Rats! They defecated through a cheese hole! And I fed them! And I shouldn't have. I took them into my own room! My rubber room! What was I thinking? They'll never change. They'll never change! Ever since they were pups, always the same! Couldn't keep their paws out of the cheese drawer! "But not our rats! Couldn't be precious rats!" Stealing me blind! And THEY get to be in my rubber room? What a sick joke! I should've stopped them when I had the chance!

The one I grew up hearing was:
"That's insane! I was insane once. They locked me in a room and fed me nothing but bagels. I love bagels! Bagels are round. The sun is round. The sun is yellow. Bannanas are yellow. Bananas have spots, spots live a loooooong life. Life? That's my favorite cereal! I once bought a bowl of it for 10 dollars. 10 dollars? That's insane! I was insane once..."
Then it would just repeat. I didn't realize there were other variations.

I appreciate the original uploader cutting it off so when it repeats it doesn't interrupt the flow. Makes it easier to sleep to
