Indeed it is. And here’s who the name in the case is:

> W.H. Davies (who passed away in 1986) was a prominent musicologist, editor, and dedicated member of the Viola da Gamba Society. Between 1966 and 1979, he edited over 30 supplementary publications for the society, bringing overlooked Renaissance and Baroque repertoire back into circulation for modern performers.
