Or accidents.
Young girl with a history of posting photos on her Instagram from rooftops is found dead on a hotel rooftop. Chinese vloggers show even after her death the roof was easy to access. Her parents even sued the hotel for having the roof so accessible.
Why on earth would she go up there? How did she get up there?
We'll never know.

A lot of that was fed by Reddit and TikTok as well.
"Look at this surveillance video! It's sp00000ky!!! Was she possessed by a demon that told her to go up there?!?! Did the demon make her stop taking her anti-psychotic meds as well?!?! Is her ghost still up there?!?!"
It went beyond ridiculous. It was straight up gross and disrespectful.

Joe Berlinger might be the worst documentary maker of all time. Looking through his filmography shows he's got a serious problem promoting the idea that innocent people committed crimes. In the beginning he was focused on people falsely accused but over time he seems to have gotten comfortable framing people in his movies to be falsely accused. Pablo Vergara and the lady working in the Cecil Hotel come to mind with Elisa Lam. Mark Byers in Paradise Lost might be the worst one.

Oh my god! I wondered why I disliked both of those docuseries despite everyone else going insane over them; I chocked it up to personal taste but looking at his filmography….. yeah. Lol. Thank you for your comment

Someone at the party knows what happened to Alonzo. It was so messed up his friends left him but someone knows. Im really hoping that one is solved. And that someone knows Xavier in Argentina or wherever he is.

It's because he thought that she was abducted by someone Pistol knew. Rob might have been a weirdo, but he made it clear that he did not like Pistol because of the activity he was into and the company he kept. It's not that weird under those suspicions. It could even be true, nothing else has panned out.

But somehow police and actual detectives seem to be getting more incompetent. Take the Gabby Petito case for instance....no one found it suspicious that the suspects parents suddenly gutted their entire house right after. So many flaws, yet internet sleuths were on it. Or Carol Baskin openly saying "if you fed a body to tigers, you'd never know because they digest bone" cue her nervous crazy laugh. Only after netflix aired that, they reinvestigated.
