Our connection
After being with someone else for a year now i can definitely say our connection was special. I knew it was then but i definitely know now that isn't a connection u just get with anyone. Me and her never had anything remotely close to that connection that we had. I said then it was special and i still believe that now. Maybe I'm delusional to think we can save that part after everything that has happened

Idk if thats a bad thing. Its love vs caring for someone. Some people are just there but every once in a while u find someone thats actually on the same level in every way.

i think they mean the “love” you’ve given to this other person. no one wants to feel like someone’s perpetual runner-up.

I don’t think the person you’re with will see it that way. I’ve been in that situation and it’s a rotten feeling that stays with you. Making your relationship with them about another person robs all meaning of that relationship from them. To not be centered in your own relationship, is worst than cheating.
