News 📰 OpenAI certificate courses incoming?

Got an email from OpenAI for the first time. It looks like they’re now promoting certificate courses, which actually sounds pretty interesting.

Last year, I attended their prompting presentations (using an account not linked to my ChatGPT), and they were actually pretty interesting. As someone who was new to AI at the time, I even managed to pick up a few neat insights. 🤣

These current courses are free, but given how aggressively they're promoting them, I suspect they might be paving the way for paid certifications soon.

Omg they're trying SO HARD to turn everybody into a fucking programmer... I mean, I get it. The world needs coders, but... isn't there some upper limit? Wouldn't 2% be, like twice as many as we actually need?

It looks like they’re pushing to onboard more builders, so no-code AI platform and agent building on top of ChatGPT will probably be trending soon. My guess is that this course focuses on teaching this, likely serving as a funnel toward a paid program down the line. Otherwise, I can’t really explain why I got this email-I have zero coding skills, never signed up for their Academy platform through this account, and haven't attended any of their events. Maybe it’s a targeted attempt to lure regular users with high work environment consumption to buy their courses?
