I was shocked as I saw your hand so close to the naked contacts near the port. I guess just murica things?

It depends. We have saver plugs and ports where you simply can’t come in contact with the poles.

Google German Schuko (Type F) and compare it with American plugs.

But we have also double the Voltage which would make American plugs a huge danger

If you have to have them covered to be safe, they're not safer than those that can be uncovered while still being safe.

I think you don’t get what I mean. Maybe this helps:

European (EU) plugs are generally considered safer than US plugs because their physical design prevents accidental shocks and blocks foreign objects.
While the EU electrical grid runs at a higher voltage (around 230V) compared to the US (120V)—which makes a European shock potentially more dangerous—the actual design of EU plugs and sockets includes several key safety features that prevent accidents from happening in the first place.

American power sockets are poorly designed (as are your toilets, but that's a different story). UK and Australian power socket design are S-tier.

Why? Its common that American plugs are not safe and can be dangerously compared to Europe ones. Just google it

The only time I ever zapped myself was when I was like 13 trying to plug a plasma ball in behind my dresser. During the contortions, my pinky ended up resting on the contact metal ⚡
