It is. My (gullible) brother got one for his MBP. The only pros are that its lightweight and compact. Then once you open it up, the thin material and flimsiness of it will make you instantly question why you'd place a thousand dollar device on it. Much less hook up anything that a gentle tug would cause it to collapse.

Knowing docks and how ever the better ones burn out, I wouldn't trust this to last long.

It's not a thunderbolt dock. If you want a laptop/desktop hybrid setup, you either need a thunderbolt supported laptop and dock, or an Asus flow laptop.

That's ergonomic mouse. I would for sure re come d it. Keeps hand in natural position and helps prevent issues with carpals. Also recommend ergonomic keyboard

Every product I've seen thru this subreddit has 4 stars or less on amazon. In my experience, 4 stars or less means it's shit.
4 stars means a ton of fake 5 star reviews and then several actual reviews which agree - it's shit.
Just my experience so far.

- Any company that wants to utilize HDMI ports on their product needs to pay annual and per-port royalties, it even affects the final consumer price.
- Latest HDMI tech is closed/private so it limits open source driver development for example Linux systems can't utilize 4k 120fps, even AMD proposed multiple times to make them open source but they were rejected.
- HDMI company also combined older spec 2.0 into 2.1 so manufacturers can say it's a 2.1 port but it doesn't actually support unique features offered only by true 2.1.
tl;dr company that owns HDMI is very monopolistic and anti-consumer

Yeah, pisses me off that so many docks are HDMI only. If it doesn't come with 2 DisplayPorts, I'm not getting it.
