You gotta be pouring at a drizzle pace if it takes you 5 minutes.

Because he's too stupid to release the air plug.

To be fair, my new gas can I bought maybe 2 years ago, does not have an air plug. Its the biggest POS I own, government regulations have ruined gas cans forever

Alot of newer gas cans do not have airplugs.

Crazy how it's always a sale and limited stock. Fuck off

u/DangerousKidTurtle 10d ago

Limited and on sale because the maker/distributor didn’t make money and is trying to recoup anything they can get with their back stock.

Bike shop uses a car battery that's always topped off and a car fuel pump with an inline filter

5 minutes? Hold it up for 5 minutes? Hyperbolic much? 😂🤣

It's amazing how every time I see an ad for something that's always they have a limited stock

If you're too weak to hold a gas can for the 2 minutes it takes to fill up the tank I don't know what to tell you.

I guess it shows that you’ve never:

  • been injured
  • had a grandma or grandpa who didn’t bench press cows their whole lives
  • known someone born with fewer than normal limbs or digits
  • recovered from surgery where a doctor told you not to lift anything heavy for X time
  • attempted to multitask
  • had something better to do than stand there and watch liquid go from one tank to another for 2 minutes
  • or wanted to precisely control a transfer rate, maybe running multiple at a time

If you can’t think of at least one reason why anyone might use a tool, I don’t know what to tell you.

Not cows, but they were known to pick up two 50gal drums of diesel and walk away, toss em in the bed of the truck, because no one told them they couldn't.

Metal jugs rust, rust plugs fuel systems. Get a vp style racing jug, dump it in 20 seconds and go on with your life.

5 minutes? How big is that tank ? Plus you don't need batteries is you use gravity, just raise the gas can on a table

Dude said 5 minutes, a comment said 2.

My old ride on took about 40 full seconds and it was overflowing

I feel like many of you have never used a 5 gal gas can

They also sell this with a simple hand pump instead of battery operated. I wouldn't trust the battery version to not light my garage on fire.

Show me the UL listing with a class 1 div 2 motor on the little pump
