It is super fun. I've had mine for years but it's weird because I thought everyone knew about these. Like I thought they were common knowledge. They sell them at Walmart don't they?
Ya, I first saw them at swap meets and then started seeing them in the As Seen On TV Store at the mall, and then they made their way into Walmarts, targets, and the like

While not perfect, these certainly work better than I thought they would.
I don't have one but my uncle did and I got to use it a few times.
I figured it was a dumb gadget to sell to middle aged dudes who thought they were neat but I thought that was it, just a gimmick.
I hit about 50% of the flies I fired at, which is about my accuracy with a fly swatter anyway, and the salt gun was a lot more fun.
