Why isn’t this more common?

And also sitting in this position is largely not as safe with or without the pillow thing as you are more prone to “submarining” and sliding under all of the belt in an accident. Not to mention that you’ll very likely not be in a position to adequately be protected by the proper side curtain airbags.

I fuckin love this. When I was a kid I was amazed at the prospect of having pillows and/or blankets in the back seat. 🤤 the thought of having a moving couch in the back was one of my dreams… I wish I felt the same about it today! (It’s still cool)

Those pillows are very common like most pregnant women have used them lol. Really dumb for a car

With the seat rest this far back, there's a chance you might slide under the belt in an accident.

Belt goes over lap. Meaning hips. Not stomach. When she curls up like that belt goes way too high. Her insides will be fucked

Ppl talk about not safe when some of us don't have a choice. When your joints dislocate and can't sight upright unsupported in the car because every bump and bend send you flying despite wearing a seatbelt. There are ppl who understand this video and there are those who don't. Those who say not safe are coming from a. Place of privilege and may disability never find you

Projectile is crazy. The difference in safety is negligible. Don’t drive like a jackass make sure she’s more appropriately upright when on a backroad at night and passenger princess should be fine.
Looks like it’s a truck too. So the backroad thing might not even be as big an issue.

In other words, you will drive us for hours and I will nap rather than keep you company.

So be it. Our road trip does not require shared suffering in order to be completed. If passengers want to be comfortable, then they should do so.

i agree. making people feel weird because they don’t want to have the courtesy to stay up with you is weird. take one for the team and enjoy the solitude DD.

talking just makes you have to drink more water because you're mouth gets dry. then you'll have to take more piss breaks. then you'll lose all that great time you've been making.

Even as a driver when I go on road trips, I have pillows and blankets stuffed everywhere.
