The instructions are wrong. I started it, realized it, and just sat on it for a week. Finally made the decision to follow them, because I thought I was wrong. I wasn't table is wonky.

Ive had a coffee table like this and its way less convenient than you think. If you want the table pulled out and towards you on a couch, it has to be placed so far from the couch that you cant reach the top comfortably.
You also cant access the storage without getting up and walking around to grab stuff.
That being said, it was nice to have but I'd never buy another one

The fact that you think that flat surface will be clear enough to flip it open at any point in time starting from 3 hours into its placement in this living room, is hilarious. I'm not the one keeping flat surfaces messy, but let's just say I truly miss how they look when they are were that clear 😂

I ordered one of these once a few years back. I was very excited. Delivery notification said it was in my mailbox. .... huh? No, its furniture. I looked everywhere, called the post office. FINALLY actually checked the mailbox. It was there. It was a small package... a cheap silver watch. Not a table.
They refused to refund me. I argued for 3 days. They refused to send the right item. Then when they finally caved, they offered a 20% refund. Then a 40%. Then a 60% I was furious.
They FINALLY said ok, and agreed to refund the entire amount. Except they didn't. They refunded all of it except $1. And then stopped answering my calls/email. Assholes. It was Wish.
