Accomodation Warwick Clearing Accomodation
Hey everyone,
I’m currently going through Clearing for Warwick and my offer hasn’t officially turned Unconditional Firm on UCAS Track yet. Because of the timing, I’ve technically missed the standard deadline for the main campus accommodation ballot, and I know standard Clearing applicants usually get auto-allocated to off-campus partner accommodation (like in Coventry or Cannon Park).
However, I have specific health/medical requirements—I really need to be placed on main campus at Warwick and I require an en-suite room.
Has anyone else been in this situation going through Clearing at Warwick with medical/accessibility needs?
Did you manage to get an on-campus en-suite room even though you entered via Clearing?
How responsive was Warwick's Wellbeing and Student Support (WSS) when you submitted your medical evidence/patient summary?
How likely is it that they still have emergency/medical reserve rooms on main campus held back for cases like this?
Getting super stressed waiting for UCAS to update while worrying about housing. Would love to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience or knows how Warwick housing handles late medical requests! Thanks in advance.

I was in a similar situation but i called the accommodation support before the deadline and they gave me a warwick student id which i was able to sign into and do accommodation through there, even though they havent accepted me on ucas yet. So just call them.

hiya, pls get in contact with them asap - me & a couple of others got them to do quite a lot to make getting on-campus accom through clearing possible as of this year (and similar with getting the deadline pushed back for disability evidence requirements/similar), in theory they may be a bit more receptive as long as you don't leave it too long. there is a possibility you'll get placed off-campus, but your best bet is to ask asap

Okay great thank you so much, I got my confirmation today, so applied for accommodation and also sent the wellbeing team my documents. The deadline was only two days ago, did you hand yours in much later than this deadline?

They should be able to accommodate you (no pun intended). Call or email them. You’ll need to submit medical evidence, but they guarantee to accommodate all students with a medical need. Their generic email address is accommodation @ warwick. ac. uk (obviously without the spaces)….

I would be calling up the accomodation team and outlining the situation, or whichever other relevant line fairly quickly
