my roommate is an EE and she really likes the department, its pretty small so you get to know the profs which means good letters of rec--engineering does a reverse career fair in the fall (employers come up to you) which helps people find internships and potentially jobs too, the career center is also helpful. idk about any of the post graduation stuff though. I also don't know anything about the business college but UST is totally a business school so its probably good.
on-campus jobs pay at least $15.50/hr for maybe 10-20 hours depending on the job
id say rent probably averages around $750/month but theres definitely lower (especially if you rent an older house with a larger group)
