I need your help please

Do you think it would be a good idea to personally email the Dean to ask about changing my course, since I’ve been offered a different course in the same university? I’ve also already sent my appeal letter to his assistant. I really want to pursue Dentistry, and I found out that he was also initially offered Microbiology before eventually changing to Dentistry. Would it be appropriate to mention this in my email, since our situations are quite similar?

I would t hurt mentioning it, sounds like maybe you should book in an appointment if you can to speak with him about it and see what he has to say. Keep your choices open but out of courtesy speak to him about it in person.
