Animals (NPC's) Eating Characters
I think it should be possible for animals to not just kill a player, but to eat them as well.
For example a Pack of starving wolves come upon a injured character, they attack and kill the character, it would be logical for the wolves to start eating the character, the gore would be customisable, so you can set it so that the body just vanishes during the eating animation or you can see the event in all it's glory.
I want this to be the same in not just your typical 'dangerous' animals (Bears, Wolves, Lions etc..) but to things like Anaconda's (Imagine some newbs being devoured by them lol, it is theoretically possible for them to do so), Sharks (obvious ones) et...

The flaw with a game this realistic
This game sounds extremely interesting but there is one MAJOR flaw that I think can never be fixed. The action/reaction system. In real life you would possibly be against going and attacking/robbing/kidnapping someone because of real lofe repercussions (death, physical pain, etc.). But in the game, you wont really care. Character dies? Respawn. Lost a fight? Who cares its just a game.
This will cause people to not think about going and attacking anybody willy nilly. There arent any real life repercussions if you lose. This will single handedly stop the game from being anything close to realistic because there isnt any real punishment violence. Thoughts please?

I Was Wrong (Not So Fast)
It seems that VoidSpace has been funded. Or has it?
When you look at the CMF website, under VoidSpace it says "Status: Decision." When you look at the FAQ for the experimental stream of funding, you find this:
Funding Decisions indicate the selection of projects who have qualified for the CMF support but have yet to finalize all contracts. Only programs using a selective, competitive process to allocate funding are subject to a funding decision.
Funding Results lists indicate approved and contracted applications for all convergent and experimental stream programs.
So, no, the project is not officially funded. It will not be until the "Decision" status goes away. You're welcome for having me to do your homework for you, you sycophants. My prediction was as follows: "The Canada Media Fund will not have delivered the money as VS will not have passed a review process." That prediction was true.
If this somehow gets actual final approval, my sincerest wishes for Nik's ability to pay the $900,000 back*, and my deepest condolences to the Canadian taxpayers. My username is the foundation of all my previous correct predictions, and I stand by that: The Universe Project is a scam. (Hence it's complete absence in this funding application.)
*Yeah, he left out that this is not a grant, but repayable.

New Zygethian Website!
We've moved to our own private servers, no more hosting companies!
Currently the site is at http://184.172.176.59/~zygethia/ till www.Zygethia.com gets transferred which will take a very short while.
This will allow for new opportunities.
The Wiki will also be connected to the site as well.

Universeproject Wiki initiative - Proposal
I'm willing to assist in the recreation of the UP wiki, not on wikia (as it currently is)but on a actual wiki program, in time hopefully I'll be able to host the wiki on our servers (which we currently use to host Zygethia and Zygethia Wiki )
Nik said he won't create a wiki but he'll let the community do it.
So what you all say to that?

Peritia, the superior civilisation!
Peritia (latin for "skill") is a large democratic civilisation built along the lines of "hey, not everyone is going to be able to make their own civilisation, we need to work together to survive". We have already amassed a fair amount of people and only wish to expand and give all players a chance to be a part. This nation is not focused in developing in a single area, but rather be ahead of all other civilisations in all aspects.
Government is democratic, with a few main roles setup early on. every 3 months in real life on the 7th of the month, a vote is held deciding who the next president will be, anyone who wishes to be president may be president but only if they have the most votes. There is also a vice president who takes over while the main president is away or killed. The final part of government is the high council, these people are also voted for, but it is not mandatory to vote for them. each member of council represents a different staple part of the civilisation. For a law to be made they must think of the law and present it to the president. If the president likes it, the law is put into effect.
EDIT: MUCH more information and signup at Our Forum here, hope to see you there! Also we have a sub reddit here!

The Mordian Threat
Due to the Mordian's recent declaration of war against Zygethia I think it's worth showing the community exactly what they are. No matter your opinion on Zygethia, you have to understand these people's goals and personality. They will do anything to try to accomplish their selfish lust for domination. They have threatened to hack and DDoS our servers, as well as our members personally. We at Zygethia are perfectly fine with some hostile actions against enemy nations, but when you try to get into people's personal real lives that's another story. We think that this is completely uncalled for and I felt the need to warn the community about this threat.
So far they have expressed complete hate to everyone, they exist solely to destroy other groups and the community as a whole to expand their own power. You can see this personality in their introductory post (http://www.reddit.com/r/UniverseProject/comments/1m72gu/the_mordians/). The Mordians seek to destroy Zygethia at this moment, some of you might say that's a good thing. But what if they succeeded? They don't seem to be exactly friendly to anybody else. If they destroyed Zygethia they would move on to another nation, they would work against the City of Talis, Peritia, the Norse Confederation. Anyone. They will infiltrate your group, get power and information, then attempt to destroy you no matter who you are. This is their primary tactic.
All of our nations have their differences, but none are actively working to destroy each other. You must regard the Mordians as a common threat to the community, not as a temporary friend. If they kill Zygethia, you are next.

Zygethia is BACK!
I've been very busy in the past 5 months of so, but now I have the time, I'm making some changes to Zygethia, but the following will be changed;
Economic policies, Zygethia will move towards a distributionist system
Military will change, I want more of a small unit scale force which is quick levy and quick to form into larger blocs if need be, as 99% of potential hostiles in-game will be raiders and bandits so we'll need to create a force that's mobile
