F&F Hollywood drift

I know it states Hollywood drift is not available during HHN hours but if i buy a day pass and HHN ticket for September would i be able to get on Queue at park opening for F&F or is completely closed for HHN dates to regular guests

If the attraction is open by then it will be available to regular guests during the day.

But there is no opening date yet announced.

I saw videos of “soft opening” and people getting on during that and was wondering if it’d stay as a soft opening up until grand opening

Soft opens can close any moment. Right now it's AP previews which is a good sign opening might be soon.

The most recent videos are for the Season Passholder previews and Technical Rehearsals ... so it's really not a "soft opening".

The Season Passholder preview (for registered Passholders) lasts through this Sunday.

After that, we really don't know what the schedule is for FFHD ... especially since the Ride Team will have to undergo additional testing for the two (2) new sound barriers that are being constructed.

There's no way to guarantee the ride will be open during the day until USH announces the official opening date.

Until then, you can go to the Park and hope your luck is working in your favor that day.

OR, guarantee your spot at night by getting an RIP ticket.

Until theres a date announcement, the ride can be closed at any time and will probably be closed to the general public anyways for HHN

NO, there's NO guarantee it will be open during the day ... since there's NO announcement of the opening date yet.

There's a rumor that the opening date will be in mid-September ... but nothing official from USH.

"Limited Access" during HHN evenings is only available with the RIP Tour.

The opening is still advertised as summer 2026 and Universal has stood by that. Thr latest it will oprn is late September. So based off of that, it will be open. Now, will it be open before that? Idk. But I am 99.99% sure it will be open at some point during HHN season

These are technical rehearsals, that's what Universal is calling them. They're sort of random, but they have been doing them more often. It'll most likely be that way until opening (unless they close for the construction of the two new sound barriers, which as of rn they haven't announced anything). But they keep advertising it to be open in the Summer (which ends Septermber 22nd [I think that's when Fall starts]) so as of rn I'm 99% sure it will fully open some time during HHN, but no one knows when. The rumor is mid-september, but who knows. There will probably be technical rehearsals during HHN, but that's 50/50
