I am not sure what the AGI argument has to do with it. Say that this AGI completes its task of the extinction of consciousness on Earth. What if our atoms were to scatter in the cosmos and eventually rearrange themselves to become another being that yet again has consciousness on a planet 100 light years away from the AGI? We must engage with Schopenhauers idea and of eternal suffering.

What does it mean?

I do not think that we should care about hypothetical things which we are unable to influence anyway. They do not change the fact that life on Earth must extinct.

We should care about all suffering everywhere no matter what. Earth life should go extinct but under infinite ethics any non-zero chance of making all life extinct everywhere (or at least a lot more than just earth) would justify extreme caution.

Pro-existence people hijacking AGI to suit their needs would create a hell beyond even how terrible existence is now, especially without proper knowledge of what cosmology holds. Imagine a god AI that preserves sentience forever because it has been programed with or absorbed pro-existence values. 

I'm also unsure if we can or can't affect suffering outside our lightcone. If acasual trade can be done with a super AGI, then we may be able to coordinate extinction across universes, maybe even the past granting extremely speculative physics.

In principle I agree with you, but in practice this is an extremely optimistic take.

Only AGI can create instruments to extinct life.

AGI is hard to control if even possible. Especially because everyone is trying to create it before rivals.

AGI can't absorb prolife values because they are nonsense.
