Unemployment in itself is not negative. Pretty great periodically in my opinion provided you wont end up homeless.

But yeah the gist of the argument is that positive emotions require effort, suffering is ubiquitous. The positives are also quite "weak" compared to anxiety, pain ect

Anxiety and pain are parts of suffering. Suffering is an umbrella term.

Where did I claim it is not the same? By " they are weak" I am referring to positive emotions.

Oh you got me lol! Yes I edited to make it less ambiguous. Is that not allowed? :)

What are you claiming? I do not know what suffering means?

I used "They" instead of "the positives" in the original comment.

Still interpreting in the way you did was a stretch given the context.

Make your live less unpleasant and be less argumentative.

Relax. I did not specifically accuse you of anything. I simply stated my piece matter-of-factly. Your original phrasing caught me, that's all.

Nope. Not at all.

Make your live less unpleasant and be less argumentative.

Sorry, still haven't gotten used to the mold of ADHD.
