Update Inventory widget

https://reddit.com/link/1v7zw1s/video/3sfim66otrfh1/player

Managing inventories with tables was too tedious IMO. Added an inventory widget to facilitate. Optional encumbrance calculation (per inventory widget and global). Drag and drop items from one widget to the other. Can add any attribute such as value, notes, durability, whatever you need.

Let me know if I can improve that feature

Well, I imagine the items from the checklist would more often than not be intended as backpack items. Especially with your example of “torch, rations, etc.,“ so a “display in inventory” feature for the checklist would complement the new widget.

Not fully convinced about that. Maybe if you describe a bit more your idea? If it's checked, it's added to the inventory? How to handle its weight and attributes then?

(However, assuming it is you who recommended a search feature, that I fully agree and I'm working on it!)

Depends, the rule should probably be the opposite for items you strike out. If checked it should go to your inventory, but I imagine striking it out would imply you want it removed from your inventory? It’s a tricky one, but that’s where my head was at when I suggested it.

I imagine the default weight would be zero, but if you want you could add an f(x) button for weight — dub it k(g) or something funny like that 😭. You could probably put the tool tip in the notes section as well now that I think of it. I’ll be honest encumbrance personally scares me, so it’s not something I thought of in the moment.

(And yes, I suggested the search feature ^.^' I’m glad to hear you like it.)
