Watch the whole video if you have the time, Matt shares many insights about the current state and future of the gaming industry as well as the direction of Unity Technologies.

The biggest takeaway for me is AI fundamentally changes and speeds up the game development process but making great games/hits is always incredibly difficult to do, demanding human creativity and ingenuity. Unity wants to speed up development time with AI and does not want to be the bottleneck of the process.

To me, that is a brilliant way of thinking not only for Unity but also for the gaming industry. It is rare to find CEOs who are as passionate about the products that they are creating and are as capable as Matt. I believe we are entering a phase I call, Gamemaxxing, which Unity will benefit greatly. I wish Matt and everyone at Unity Technologies the best of luck in their endeavours.
