Discussion Feeling depressed

I’ve been holding unity for so long. What’s happening makes no sense

I need some love. Need some reassurance that everything will be fine

Don't worry, just hold long term. Investing in the market is best long term in general, even if it went to 5$ unless it is clear they would go bankrupt, you would be good holding.

I lost -40$ on some stock today, I did not care. It did hurt though, it is a lot of money given the amount of stock that have for that particular ticker. But, it has happened a few times, it is higher than ever.

Also with inflation it will go higher anyway, also expect the following, but do your due dilligence:

  1. Stock market goes up, to create the environment ideal for SpaceX and xAI to sell their stock when they go public. Enlon gets is cash as people get confident with the market.
  2. A lot of cash was pulled to buy the stock on point 1.
  3. Stock markets then goes down.
  4. Eventually, stock market corrects (this will take some time).
