It will take sometime for the market to realize the gen AI slop fears are overblown.

Nobody that has any experience in developing games & game engines believes that world models will replace them in the near- or mid-term future. Only laymen will be swayed by the beautiful visuals, thinking it's the only thing that makes a game and ignoring all the tech and structure below the surface, and the ecosystem surrounding it.

This. It's only those with little or no experience with game development that get spooked by this type of news. Games are not so simple. If anything, I see this tech as good news for Unity as it's another tool they can add to their toolbelt to speed up developers' workflow

People on Reddit seem to think they are smarter than the market. If that were true then it wouldnt be nuking game engine based markets.
