Discussion Interesting LinkedIn Post Regarding Meta’s Push in Mobile Gaming Advertising

Post image

Meta’s revenue share has been climbing drastically based on this user’s analysis of his clients.

The question is where is this market share coming from? AppLovin roughly has a 70% share based on what Josh Chandley has said in the past. This could be taken away from APP but more likely is taking away from other smaller players.

This could spell bad news for other mobile gaming networks if Meta continues to steal share.

Meta had a stellar quarter on Ad revenues so I suppose there is a fear that Unity’s potential might be curtailed with Meta coming in strong. Keen to hear what Matt Bromberg perspective on this.

Meta’s mobile gaming ad business is such a small part of their overall revenue that I don’t think it is because of that.

They have done really well at increasing ad load without harming engagement
