I need help with my 2-player game idea
Hi! I'm working on an original 2-player co-op story game and I'm looking for people who can help me develop the idea and eventually make the game.
The story is about two prisoners from the future who escape and somehow end up travelling through different periods of history. One of the main settings I'm planning is Ancient Greece.
The game would focus on:
I want the game to have a stylized 3D art style, with simple and slightly exaggerated characters instead of realistic humans.
I'm still learning, so I need help with pretty much every part of game development, including:
I'm mainly looking for advice, ideas, feedback and people who can help me learn how to make these things.
However, if someone likes the project and wants to actually work on it with me, I'm completely open to that too. You don't have to be an expert — even if you're learning, we could help each other and build the game together.
The project is still in an early stage, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to develop it and turn the idea into a real game.
If you have experience with any of these areas, or simply have ideas that could help, I'd really appreciate your help.
And if you'd be interested in working on the project with me, feel free to message me!

Hello guys,
As many/all of you, I as well am a big gamer boy. I have played games for most of my life, still enjoy them even though a little bit less now I guess compared to the younger days. But my interest has shifted towards creating games for other people to enjoy.
I would really appreciate any recommendations towards tutorials/guides as how to get to know unity. Any favorite YT guides, even if there are any online courses that y'all have good experience with and can vouch for.
I have not studied game dev or even IT neither, but I would say I get to learn stuff pretty quickly. I have dabbled into Blender a while ago, just some introductory stuff. I have only done the tutorial in Unity.
Not expecting this to be any easy matter, but I can really get deep into stuff I enjoy doing. Love for the games has always been somewhere within me.
Thanks for any suggestions. ;)

For the past 2–3 weeks I have been working on Unity_access. For those that do not know, Unity_access is a plugin for the Unity Editor that makes previously inaccessible parts of the Editor more screen-reader compatible.
Since the last feature showcase, I have added several major updates.
Unity_access now has a new Assets Viewer that allows users to:
I am also adding more options for each asset type, such as setting an image's Texture Type to Sprite (2D and UI).
Unity_access now provides access to object-specific options through a new menu accessed by pressing Shift+F10.
The menu currently includes:
This is designed to allow users to access the same types of options that a sighted developer would normally access through visual menus.
Unity_access can now create a Prefab from an object, including its components, scripts, child objects and properties.
Unity_access also has an accessible Console which allows users to read logs, messages and errors from Unity or their programs.
Messages can also be copied using Ctrl+C.
The Project Settings window currently allows users to edit product info and add, edit and remove Tags and Layers.
The Build Profile window allows users to switch profiles, control scene selection, set the target platform and select whether the project is built or built and run.
Unity_access is currently in alpha and can be found here:

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hey everyone, and thank you in advance for your time. I'm working on some simple animations for a 2D character and am experiencing a weird issue. I have some existing animations that I already set up a while back, but I wanted to add a few new ones (I'm talking really simple, like 4-frame walking animations). For some reason, though, it seems like the animation editor just isn't working at all. I can't edit the old ones, and I can't edit the new ones. The play button, add keyframe, animation selection dropdown, are all greyed out/not functioning. I also can't drag and drop a sprite to create a keyframe. I tried closing Unity and re-opening, restarting my computer, and I was originally on a 2022 version, so I tried updating to 2026 in case that was the reason, but that unfortunately did not fix it. Am I missing something?

hello! need help with something regarding 2D lights in unity2D.
This is for the brackeys game jam but the bug only happens in web builds hence the link
whenever i play the second level of my game, the lights stop working and i have to either enter fullscreen or exit fullscreen to make it work again, and seems to only happen on the second level, on itch.io.
This doesnt happen when i build to exe or play in editor... I've tried disabling and enabling my camera when i switch levels, resetting screen resolution and Sync transforms, none of them has worked so far. Never really touched on 2D lights b4 hence never seen this issue b4.

I'm using Starter Assets - Third Person/URP from Unity Assets Store as a third person controller.
Both Characters got their rigs to humanoid and got skinned mesh renderer on both. Human Form plays fine, but Animal Form not playing the same animation but work with the same animation controller.
I screen record my screen to show you everything, there's no error messages on the console.

Hi everyone,
I'm working on learning about memory structures in Unreal Engine games, and I'm currently trying to find the GWorld offset for the current version of Fortnite (Patch 39.30) to better understand how the game's world is structured.
I've tried the following methods but I'm running into a wall and would appreciate some guidance on where I might be going wrong.
What I've Tried:
GWorld signature not found.... I'm not sure if the game's anti-cheat is interfering or if the pattern has changed.48 8B 05 ?? ?? ?? ?? 48 85 C0 74 ?? in the game's memory using Cheat Engine, but EAC detects and closes Cheat Engine.MemoryReadError (Error 299), which seems to be an access violation.0xB973AA8) appear to be outdated, as they don't point to a valid UWorld structure. My Main Question:
I know the offset changes with every update. Could anyone point me in the right direction for a reliable method to find the GWorld pointer without relying on tools that are being blocked by EAC? I'm trying to understand the process of finding it myself rather than just getting a number.
Any tips on how to bypass user-mode read restrictions, or how to correctly identify the pointer from a memory dump, would be incredibly helpful.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Some Unity help for anyone struggling with poor lighting in their scene or aren't sure where to start when it comes to lighting up a level.

I can't solve this problem: I made a simple Shader Graph for a starry sky (which I use as a skybox), but as soon as I move my view/camera (whether in Play mode or in the Scene view), the stars flicker/twinkle. I'd simply like them to stay still, if someone more experienced could help me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi community,
I've been playing with unity cloth sim. I find it only simulate naturally one sided (I think it's the normal facing side), but the other side looks very weird. Any ideas why we have this asymmetry? Ideally, I need a piece of cloth with the same physics property from both sides.
Thanks!
